CAMP HILL, Pa. — LPL Financial has expanded its independent advisor network with the addition of Conte Wealth Advisors, LLC, a 24-advisor practice overseeing approximately $1.6 billion in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets.
The Camp Hill, Pennsylvania-based firm transitions to LPL's platform after previously affiliating with Cambridge Investment Research.
Conte Wealth Advisors serves high-net-worth individuals and business owners across several states. The practice traces its origins to the 1950s, when founder Sam Conte began advising clients. Today, the family-led firm is headed by Tony Conte, CFP, CEPA, who assumed the role of president in 2012. The leadership team also includes his father, Frank Conte, CLU, ChFC, and his brother-in-law, Joe Henriques, CFP, AIF, who serves as managing director and principal wealth advisor.
According to the firm, the move to LPL was driven primarily by a desire to leverage the independent broker-dealer's technology ecosystem, scale, and advisor support infrastructure to enhance client service capabilities.
"From the beginning, we've felt a genuine commitment from LPL's leadership and teams to helping us succeed," Tony Conte said in a statement regarding the transition.
For LPL Financial, the addition of the $1.6 billion team adds to its ongoing momentum in recruiting sizable practices across both the independent broker-dealer space and wirehouse channels.
